The perspiration was in tenaciously pursuing every friend I could think of to support our cause.  Almost every single co-worker of mine donated generously to the DGR.  I was amazed to learn how many of my friends have been affected by prostate cancer, and how ready they were to support the Prostate Cancer Foundation.  I had one Facebook friend threaten to un-friend me for bugging them, but who needs a “friend” like that?  The leaderboard also fostered some friendly competition to see how much we could push ourselves to raise donations.
