Hands down my favourite shot from DGR 2017 — just the two of us, chasing the good times and throttle-wide smiles.

DGR - 2020

Friday 11th Apr 2025

The COVID-impacted DGR was a much more subdued affair.

While we wait for the ride to begin, we’re treated to the roar of a neighbour firing up their stunning Norton.

The Honda’s had a makeover—now dressed in sleek black, with a custom tank and a reworked seat to match. The Yamaha, as always, is looking sharp and dapper.

DGR - 2018

Friday 11th Apr 2025

This was the first year I shared my original ride—the trusty Honda—with a mate, while my wife and I cruised on the Yamaha. Riding in the DGR is always special, but sharing the experience with close friends takes it to a whole new level.

The Yamaha XV750 was finally finished — a labour of love.

I was counting down the time, eagerly awaiting DGR to roll around.

DGR - 2014

Friday 11th Apr 2025

In 2014, DGR became my calender reminder for my annual medical "check up". Big shout out to my GP for being a great sport and modelling the "before" photo.

“This is my GP, so I can’t show you his face”

First DGR - 2013

Original DGRs were held in September. This year the weather was very wet, but the enthusiasm was very high. The bike was a rather modified Honda CD250u.

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Friday 11th Apr 2025 On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
