My Dad my Hero

I ride for my Dad, 40 year veteran of the Indian Army, dedicated family man, my hero!

I always saw him put everyone else first, his nation, soldiers who served under him, his friends, his family.

Always a pillar of strength standing firmly behind his kids, wife and anyone who needed help, putting his needs and well being last. All my success is because I knew he always had my back.

He cared for everyone to the extent that he often neglected his own health.
Now in his golden years he is a full time care giver to my mother who has Parkinson's disease and severe mobility issues. From making tea for her, taking her to Drs  appointments, and encouraging her to always carry on, he is my mother's lifeline.

He was having a heart attack and refused to go to the hospital because he was worried about leaving my mom!

it is for men like him I ride, to recognize and thank them for their selflessness, but also to increase awareness for them, so they can be motivated to take care of themselves, as they take care of everyone else! 

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Saturday 23rd Mar 2024 On Sunday the 19th of May 2024, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
