What a great day!

Hello, it's Sunday Evening. I am home now after the ride today. The weather was beautiful all day. The ride was a lovely ride through to the historic Lincoln Cathedral and then on to the International Bomber Command. On the Lincoln Ride, there were 90 bikes that set off from Wickenby Airfield. I believe the 88 of them finished the ride in true style. All very Dapper, smartly dressed Gentlemen and Ladies. My bike threw a small curve ball at me as we were about to set off, but it was a good twist of the throttle that freed the float and saved the ride. The rest of the ride was flawless and fun. A great event for a great cause.

Godspeed is home now!

The CX500 - 'Godspeed' is currently at home. Looking good, In my opinion at least, sounding very loud. The CX500 is going for a slight re-working on the exhaust to make it a bit less exuberant. I like my neighbours, if I don't make Godspeed less shouty under throttle, I think they will not like me!

The Honda CX500 'GODSPEED' is ready for collection. The gentlemen at Wrightway Motorcycles in Lincoln have done a fantastic job on the mechanics and modifications on the bike. I am not allowed to name the legend who painted the tank and mudguard for me, but he has done a magnificent job, and I am in awe of the workmanship carried out by all of them. I can't thank them enough. Really looking forward to taking @Godspeed out on the road.

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Wednesday 3rd Apr 2024 On Sunday the 19th of May 2024, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
