Riding Abroad

I've recently posted a photo of a group of men lined in formation on a bunch of old, dusty Royal Enflield Bullet 500s.

This photo is actually of me and my group of friends on a country-spanning ride of Nepal last October.

That ride let me experience a lot of new things - an entirely new country and its culture, the venerated muscle of the Royal Enfield 500cc single-cylinder engine through all sorts of terrain (mostly offroad), and the Nepalese idea of what a "highway" is.

Additionally, it really helped me center myself in an otherwise hectic time in my personal and professional life.  This "guys trip" allowed me some space and time to reflect on what's really important - my time here on Earth and how I'm using it.

I'd love if everyone reading this would do the same and think about prioritizing yourself over the world around you.  A big part of the reason why I'm riding for Men's Health is for mental health awareness, particularly for men who may not take that time to separate themselves from the day-to-day and maybe carve up the side of a mountain in Nepal.

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Friday 12th Apr 2024 On Sunday the 19th of May 2024, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
