Mission (nearly) accomplished!

Sunday 19th May 2024

I started this journey just wanting to participate, figuring I'd be happy to gather a couple hundred bucks towards the cause.  Then all of you stepped up and I quickly exceeded the default goal of $1000!  I raised it to $1500 thinking that was a stretch and it got passed as well.  

I then chose $2024 as my final goal as it seemed like a good number and here we are north of that one as well!  I'm very appreciative to everyone for your contributions to a very worthwhile cause and will be sure to represent you in a distinguished manner. 

The ride is tomorrow, bike is washed and checked over, and final wardrobe preparations and beard grooming are underway.  Stay tuned for a post ride summary and photos.  Thanks again for your support and don't forget to be dapper!

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Thursday 25th Apr 2024 On Sunday the 19th of May 2024, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
