Pre DGR Tire Swap

Saturday 18th May 2024

Yesterday I changed my rear tire at home. I've learned this is a two person job. If my neighbor hadn't seen me struggling and helped out I'd have given up. 

So the ride is tomorrow and I still don't know where we are meeting or what clothes (that I currently own) might fit the DGR look. Usually I ride in protective gear and full face helmet so idk I'll figure something out. It's my first DGR so I still have this one time excuse for not having it all together.

 
I don't even really know where this "blog post" will end up. If this is viewed by the Port Richey riders reach out and LMK where we are meeting and when. 

 

If this blog is supposed to be a fund raiser then my apologies to my friends, family, and acquaintances for hitting you up to ask for money. It's for a good cause, as far as I know, at least, men's mental and physical health with an emphasis on prostate cancer. If I really want to make a difference in men's health I better start on my own, it's neglected, you can probably relate.

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Sunday 12th May 2024 On Sunday the 19th of May 2024, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
