On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'll be riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride in Rotterdam for the 4th time — and for me, it’s more than just a ride.

 Years ago, I lost a close friend to cancer. In his final months, he kind of passed one of his beloved classic motorbikes on to me — a gesture that still means the world. That gift started my journey with DGR. Every year since, I suit up, shine my boots and bike, and ride in his memory — and for the many others, men and women, I’ve lost to cancer.

I ride to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men’s mental health, causes that are still too often overlooked.
