Post Op Update
Thursday 24th Apr 2025Just got the results of of my first post op PSA test and they are good! I got the ok a week ago to start riding my bicycle and motorcycle so life is good. Thanks again everyone for your support it means so much to me. Can't wait to ride this years DGR.
Riding for The Cause: DGR 2025

Hello family and friends,
Many of you have generously supported my efforts to raise funds through an organization called the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride and it has been greatly appreciated.
The DGR working in conjunction with Movember, look to raise awareness for both men’s mental health and prostate cancer. My involvement prior to this years event has been an eager participant but as some of you may know just a few weeks after completing the 2024 ride a routine physical indicated that my PSA levels were elevated. Nine months later, I am recovering from surgery to remove my prostate and with careful monitoring and care I hope to be one of many men that have beaten this disease.
So as you can imagine I am really looking forward to donning my finest Tweed and waxed cotton threads and riding in this years DGR.
It goes without saying that I would greatly appreciate your financial and emotional support as I ride in this years event.

PS: The above was written 3 days after my surgery, a few weeks later I met with my surgeon to review the surgical results which were good, and at the end of April I take the first follow-up PSA test that determine next steps. While there is a ways to go before I can say that I am cancer free, I am optimistic. Thanks for all the kind words and support.
