What an experience!

Thursday 23rd May 2024

Now that the excitement has died down a little from the day somewhat, time to reflect on what and awesome day my first DGR (and in fact, my very first group ride) ended up being!

Everyone involved was so friendly, from the organisers at Shirlaws, the bikers, and anyone else there watching/helping/cheering us on.

The little Monkey got plenty of attention, which was nice as the person with the second smallest bike there (there was an adorable little BMW toy bike too at the starting point).

It was lovely meeting loads of new folk interested in both bikes, and also raising funds for a worthwhile cause. Hope to meet some of you again on the road, either in a future DGR, or any other time.

Many thanks to everyone who contributed via my donation page, and I recall that the total wasn't very far off £20k for Aberdeen, and there's still time to hit that mark and beyond!

(Also, I'm slowly working on the footage I got on my Insta360 (new to editing with it, so bear with me), and will hopefully have something uploaded soon.)

Just passed my test, time to celebrate with the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride!

Friday 17th May 2024

As some of you may know, I've only just taken the big step of getting my full motorcycle license very recently, and what better way to celebrate than with a big charity ride!

I'd be trying to dress as dapper as I can (a bit hard to do keeping riding gear in mind), and riding around Aberdeen this coming Sunday (and hopefully get some of it filmed too).

If you have any interest in men's health at all, join me in spirit with a donation!

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Sunday 5th May 2024 On Sunday the 19th of May 2024, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
