Join the Hassell Handlebars as we ride for The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

On Sunday the 19th of May 2024, the Hassell Handlebars ride in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride together with fellow men and women in Brisbane to raise funds and awareness for cancer and men's health. 

We ride for our friends, family and community.

So, before we press our tweed and polish our boots, we are asking you to join us in raising funds and awareness by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.

Why I ride - Guy

Friday 12th

On Sunday the 19th of May 2024, I will join the gentlefolk of Brisbane in the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride working to raise awareness and funds in the name of Men’s Health.

I'm riding for Jack Saunders and Tony Badino.

My Father-in-Law Jack was enigmatic wordsmith who was always there for a drink and a good time, cherishing his family above all thing. I am honoured to share the years I was lucky enough to have with him and will never forget our time together.

My Uncle Tony spent his life travelling around Australia living on the road as much as he could, as best he could. His adventurous, roaming spirit is something I admire.

I have been a part of this charity ride almost as long as I’ve been without you both.
Let’s keep riding together.

Why I ride - Ben

Friday 12th

On Sunday the 19th of May 2024, I will ride in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women in Brisbane to raise funds and awareness for cancer and men's health.

This year I ride for John Ray and Uncle Dod David. 

JR showed me that above all you are for your family and your community. His mentorship, generosity and impact to the people around him made it an honour to be part of his life and to call him a friend.

Dod David taught me that making something beautiful is a ritual of care and hard work, whether landscapes or motorbikes. His memory continues to grow through his family and his gardens.

Though you both weren’t shy in disapproving my motorcycle habits, I know you won’t mind me riding in your spirit for this meaningful cause.

Thursday 4th On Sunday the 19th of May 2024, we are teaming up to ride in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before we press our tweed and polish our boots, we are asking you to join us in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
