Reason for Riding

Wednesday 26th Mar 2025

May 18th 2025 will be one year to the day that I and my family lost my dad, Kevin Bendel Sr., to esophageal cancer. He would've been 62 years old for this event. I will be riding an all original parts 1981 Suzuki GS750L. A motorcycle he bought when he was 19 and a machine of my dreams since I can remember. After years of looking at it in the garage due to broken carburetors, he and I were able to find OEM parts and get it running with only 4600 miles on the odometer. Finally after decades of waiting, I was able to buy the bike fully operational and pristine. This bike and participating in this event means a lot to me and I would appreciate any amount you could donate towards my ride in memory of my dad and other fathers that people have lost and mourn.

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Tuesday 25th Mar 2025 On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
